Its beginning to look alot like… um no not yet. But truly this is the BEST Christmas jam! So we were pulling out some berries from the freezer and just had to make a batch!
Actually it is a perfect season to make this wonderful little treat. Make this now and be all ready for gifts come Christmas when the stores are full and you feel rushed with time. I always keep a few jams on hand for the last minute stop in guest to give them a treat!

The jam sounds odd with the ingredients. I mean who puts strawberries and cranberries together to make a “Christmas” jam? But once you make it and taste it I’m sure if you are anything like us you will say yes this is totally a Christmas jam! so without much further ado.
Christmas Jam/ No pectin needed

This beautiful twist of cranberries and strawberries creates a wonderful platform for this Christmas Jam!
Ingredients
- 12 oz Cranberries
- 40 oz of strawberries
- 1/2 cup Orange juice
- 7 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon
Instructions
1. Add cranberries and strawberries to a medium size saucepan
2. Then add the sugar and the orange juice
3. Turn on the stovetop on high until it comes to a boil
4. Once boiling use a stick blender to blend up some of the jam
5. add the spices
6. let boil 10 mins
7. Turn off and do the plate taste( put plate in the freezer then put a plop of jam on the plate and put it back in the freezer. Leave in for 5 mins. Pull it out of the freezer turn at a 90 degree angle. If the jam runs right off the plate turn back on stove for another 10 mins and repeat. Once it is slowly moving off the plate and looks like Jam it is done!)
8. If ready you can either put in fridge or in containers for the freezer or follow below for canning instructions.
9. Wash and sanitize your jars.
10. Using a funnel pour your jam into your jars.
11. Wipe the rims with a warm wash cloth
12. screw on lids and rings
13. HWB for 10 mins
