Sharing is caring!

Me oh its me!!! Can you see me jumping up and down raising my hand?

A Momma Bear does what she wants to do in order to give her cubs a safe and loving environment! That is me. I often find myself to be completely out of the main stream society box. I love it that way! I want my children to learn, love, grow be happy with who God has created them to be. Not to feel like they need to fit in some man made box. Recently we made them all shirt that say “fearfully and wonderfully made” I believe that scripture!

Im not quite sure why I want to start blogging but Ill give you this. Last year my son died. He was 23 and had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He did not die of his disease as the main cause. I truly feel like it was from medical neglect. That brought more of the momma bear out in me than I thought possible.

I was created to be a woman. I am proud God choose me to be a woman. A woman is Biblically given such a wonderful job. To be her husbands helpmet and to raise children for His glory. My son went to be with the Lord I know this with every fiber in my being. He wrote a song at one point called Well done. The Words were well done, well done you good and faithful one. I feel like that is exactly what God said with my sons arrival to heaven.

I know if you haven’t left yet you maybe saying ok that’s enough religion get to the good stuff. To me its not a religion is a walk with Christ that I fail at daily! But everything I do has its own foundation in Christ. I am not ashamed at that.

The Momma Bear 2 Many

Why do you have 14 children? I have 14 children because that is what God has chosen to bless us with! There is a complete and wonderful beauty in giving you whole being to the Lord holding nothing back. I know God it the author of my life and my children’s. He alone hold the key. He is in every breath that I breath. God knew every child that He chose to give me. I feel so blessed to been given such a privilege to raise these children. Just those words bring tears to my eyes.

Do you want more children? Yes I do desire more children. Why would I not want to be blessed by God?

The homeschooling Momma bear

Our journey homeschooling started when my son at 6 years old came home crying his teacher had been angry at him yet again. As punishment he received more homework and sitting out at recess. So when he came home he still had work to do so no play time. Day in and day out it was the same routine. The end of that year I pulled him out of school. The next year we moved it seemed like a better school and system. Until years later I found out that my disabled son was shamed and abused by one of the teachers in his pre K class. I was done before this.

The day that changed forever there was a tornado coming to the area. I tried to pick up my boys and they were on lock down I couldn’t pick up my boys! I didn’t grow up around tornados I wanted to bring all my kids to safety!

Fast forward over 20 years later we have been homeschooling since! I never turned back. My oldest son choose to go to public high school for sports. But honestly once he got into school I go so sad. He was never “good enough: for the system not the right color or ethnicity. He loved sports but didn’t meet the height requirement or the family status to be given. It was sad to see him go through this. That said I am so happy to have homeschooled all of our children.

The Unschooling Momma Bear

Our homeschool has definitely changed over the years. I started to have school at home as in the core subject in textbook form with me as a teacher. Well I have changed SO much! I hope to share with you all how and why I changed to what I believe a better philosophy. I LOVE learning with my children now. I love traveling and reading to them and just sharing experiences.

The Natural Momma Bear

Momma Bear 2 Many has spent years figuring out how to treat my family over all with natural remedies. There is a time and space for Dr.s but every little sneeze is not a medical emergency. I want you all to be empowered to try something new. To feel like you as mom can decide if a treatment is right or wrong for your children. To be willing to fight for your childrens rights! I hope to share some of our favorite treatments with you!

I was told years ago that my son had and antibiotic resistant from the food system I was shocked! I have almost made it my lives research how we could eat better.

The Homesteading Momma bear

Homestead to me is like the garden of Eden. Learning the beauty in Gods creation and become a good steward of what the Lord has given us. As we move away from skittles and on to more Real Food I would love to share our struggles and our triumphs.

I know I may fail or not word things correctly in this blog. First and foremost I am a wife and a mom. There may be typos as I type and nurse my baby. There maybe some mess type photos because lets be honest life is messy.

If you choose to stick around I ask you what would you like to know? About us or learn from us?

I want to connect with other momma Bear those who are not afraid to stand up for their children. Comment below if you are also a momma bear?
