My oh my yummy! Who doesn’t like chocolate? I think those souls must be few and far between. I know I for one love chocolate! I gave birth to and additional 14 chocolate lovers …well my oldest isn’t a super fan so he had to marry a wonderful women who is a chocolate lover as well!
Oh the creamy goodness in this chocolate pudding recipe! This recipe works really well with any type of milk. When our cow is in milk we use her milk. Whole, skim, and even powdered milk! I love that I can use powdered milk because hot cocoa and chocolate pudding are my break open in case of an emergency recipes!
Honestly this recipe whips up fairly quickly. So if you are looking for a quick afternoon snack for your children. Especially if it’s close to shopping day this is a great recipe!
Chocolate Pudding
This is a delicious, super yummy, super chocolatey, chocolate pudding! With it's creamy smoothness and chocolate taste, this pudding is nearly irresistible!
If your like most people, then you love chocolate, and this is defenitly a recipe you should try out! It is easy to make, affordable, and too good to not try and make!
This pudding can be used for enjoying right out of the bowl, or you can even turn it into delicious fudge pudding pop. Whatever suites you, or if you're like us, you can simply do them both.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar
- 3/4 cup Cocoa
- 1 cup Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 11 cups Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 teaspoon vanilla.
Instructions
- Get a large saucepan.
- Add your sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, salt, and milk.
- Put on the stove and turn on the heat.
- Keep it on the heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens. About 20 minutes.
- Once it has thickened some, add the butter and vanilla.
- Once you have added that, turn off the heat.
- Let the pudding cool in the pot.
- Put the pudding into a bowl and set in the fridge until it has cooled into a yummy, cool pudding.
- If you'd like, then you can add some of the pudding while it is still warm and thin to pop containers and set those in the freezer.
- Once cooled, or frozen. Then enjoy!
