WOW! This Pineapple mango jam is wonderful! It is the perfect blend of tart and sweet! Sometimes I think of something like hey wouldn’t this and that taste good together? Maybe being pregnant 19 times its just ingrained in me. But the result sometimes are these super yummy combos!
Whether using on bread or crackers or on meat as a marinate this is surely delicious!

I decided to add lots of recipes to this blog because I also want this blog to be for my children. As they have there families they will always be able to find those memorable dishes and family favorites. I hope this and some of our other family recipes also become some of your favorites.
Pineapple Mango Jam

The wonderful Jam is a perfect combo of tart and sweet. It give a tropical twist to almost any dish! Enjoy on crackers or use as a base to a meat glaze. You are sure to be delighted by this jam!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Mango
- 1 1/2 cups of pineapple
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 T lemon juice
Instructions
1. Chop up mango and pineapple
2. In a sauce pan add pineapple, mango, sugar and lemon juice
3. Bring fruit to a boil
4. Once boiling use and immersion blender to blend in the sauce pan
5. Boil 10 mins
6. Then test to see if it is jam. We like to do the following to check
7. Put a plate in the freezer. Then take out the plate plop a spoon of jam on the plate and put back in freezer for 5 mins. Then take out of the freezer. Turn the plate on its side. If the Jam runs quickly off it let cook and additional 10 mins then check again. If it slowly moves, and looks like jam it is ready to can.
8. Clean and sanitize your jars.
9. using a canning funnel fill all your jars.
10. Wipe rims with hot water
11. Screw on lids and rings
11. Place in a hot water bath for 10 minutes
